    A friend once told me to go here after forwards festival. I arrived and asked boss for a chicken shawarma to which boss looked back at me very confused. What is shawarma he said? This should've been the first sign to leave it. A short period later I received my wrap of chicken and McDonald's veg. A few bites later I decided enough was enough and handed the shawarma to a local segul. The segul was equally disappointed and flew back to Brighton... never to return to Bristol. Long story short that man is no longer my friend.

    City Cafe acts as the pumping heart of my chosen city - Bristol. It would be easy to boil this down to the large range of affordable delicious options they offer (both meat and veggie) and the unbelievably quick service they provide, but even this praise would be selling it short.I can say without hesitation that what makes City Cafe truly outstanding is the personable and charming staff and customer service provided without fail. Ahmed, Murat, and Soloman (and that's just to name a few) are genuine guys whose hearts lie with their business.Along with all of their fresh quality ingredients, you'll find yourself tasting something a little bit unplaceable spread evenly throughout your beautifullyjam-packed halloumi wrap. This is in fact: love.If you're looking to challenge yourself in , try this. Place your order at City Cafe, have a chat with those blue-polo-shirted studs, and try not to fall head over heels for them! Mark my words, you're bound for failure. But not before you're bound for a mouth full of exciting flavours and tastes.Get down there as soon as you can and show some support to the soulful staple of Bristol...City Cafe. Maybe I'll see you there...who knows. City Cafe is what dreams are made for, and I'll tell you that for nothing.

    These are my guys. These guys are like clockwork. They are the absolute A-team of bossmen. Every time I go up to their van, drunk and hungry at the end of the night, my food is in my hands within thirty seconds of ordering it. I'm not even joking. They are just that On It. One time I stopped by during the day just to pick up some chips to keep me going on a busy day, and I got chatting to the owner (Mujat? I'm sorry boss I can't quite remember your name) and he was lovely. He even shared some of his own lunch-break chips with me while we waited for mine to fry. He also said someone had come on here and left a bad review because the place was dirty??? Mate. Not only is this van in perfect hygienic condition, but the fact that it's maintaining these standards while being a portable structure surrounded by battered heathens in the middle of the actual street is nothing short of a miracle. These donnies provide the entire city with a vital and excellent service. They are honest-to-God shining lights in the dark. Mujat if that is your name I hope you know that you're doing a great job and bringing us the best chicken kebab and chips this side of the Severn. Sorry I said I'd leave you a review and then it took me this long to get to it. Been a busy time. Been movin' house. Take care my son and Happy New Year!
